Had a wonderful stay with all the family together. Lovely house, everything there that we needed and beautiful surroundings

Absolutely incredible! The place is beautiful and peaceful with some stunning walks nearby. Rowena was a wonderful host – very friendly and accommodating. We felt very at home. Can’t recommend enough!!!

We had a fabulous long weekend with the extended family at Rowena’s house . Plenty of room for 10 adults to relax inside and in the garden. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for this number and we could all fit around the kitchen island or eat in the dining room. Would love to return in the future.

Great house for a large group of adults with 6 bedrooms with 5 en-suite of which 2 are on the ground floor. The one not en-suite on the ground floor had its own bathroom. Though we had a very large dining room we ate in the well stocked kitchen (party of 10) and used the lounge to chill. Bedrooms were very comfortable and well furnished. It was in a good location in the New Forest with plenty of parking and outside sitting area. Rowena was always available to respond to any queries.

Lovely big house that accommodates the ten of us without any issues at all. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds in particular really comfy. Slept very well.
Kitchen is really well equipped, we didn’t have any issues with missing kit as often happens in holiday lets.
Met by Rowena on our arrival and shown around. Needed to contact her a couple of times during our week and always received a reply very quickly.
Would happily come back here again in future.
If you have a big group and want to explore the New Forest this is a great base from which to do so.

Rowena is a super host and the house is really great, we stayed 12 people for a long weekend and there were plenty of room for everyone. Rowena really goes that extra mile for you to make sure you have a pleasant stay.

We had a family gathering at the farmhouse. There was lots of space for everyone. Plenty of grass for the children to play cricket and outdoor seating for everyone.
The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans of all sizes. It was good to sit around the breakfast bar for breakfast.
It is in a wonderful part of the country with lots of places to visit close by. We had horses wandering past and popping their heads over the garden wall.
All in all a great family weekend. Thank you Rowena for sharing your home with us.

A beautiful house, perfect for our multigenerational family group with lots to do close by. The cooks appreciated the well equipped kitchen and everyone enjoyed the big enclosed garden. Rowena is a considerate and understanding host, we look forward to returning.

Charming farmhouse in Beaulieu, central to The New Forest and all it has to offer. Plenty of space in the farmhouse with all the facilities needed to cater for a large family or small group. Welcoming touches like fruit bowl and flowers and basic necessities to get you started. This farmhouse is a little tired in places and the outdoor area could do with a freshen up but it represents great value for money and is comfortable.

Had a great stay with four other friends. Lovely to have all ensuite bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. However we were surprised the beds did not come already made up, as is customary in Airbnbs.
Great location for visiting the New Forrest and the beach and plenty of parking space in the large garden.
Offbeat vegan restaurant in Lyndhurst was an unexpected delight. The Pig at Brockenhurst ( with it’s beautiful kitchen garden) and The Royal Oak at Fritham, ( for their famous ploughman’s lunches) did not disappoint.

Rowena offers you a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful garden. Rowena is hospitable, easygoing and very helpful.
Surroundings of Beaulieu are gorgeous. We had a lovely 2week stay.

An ideal location for extended families to get together and visit all the many local attractions and after to come back and relax in this charming cottage and surrounding garden.

Great place to stay for big families or even two families. Every room well equipped. Great value for money

A really lovely house perfect for a big family gathering. Great that every room has an ensuite which makes it super convenient. The kitchen is nice and big and it’s always lovely to cook with an aga.
We did walk to Beaulieu (only a mile up the road) although it’s a busy road so not ideal walking. Beaulieu itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit – and the Beaulieu Bakehouse does a great breakfast. Can also recommend the Royal Oak for dinner and if you’re able to get a reservation, The Pig at Brockenhurst is phenomenal.

Lovely big, warm and comfortable house which had everything we needed for our stay for 7 adults, 4 kids. Rowena was the perfect host!

A large, well equipped house-perfect for a large family gathering.

Rowena was very welcoming. The house is very big and well equipped. Very warm and cosy. Lovely house.

The farmhouse makes a great base for a group holiday. Each bedroom has an ensuite, the kitchen is huge and has an Aga, the living room has big, comfy sofas, and the dining room makes every meal an occasion. The BBQ and chiminea also got a lot of use on the more pleasant evenings. You can actually walk from the house into the forest if you’re careful of traffic – the Penerley Gate entrance is about 700m up the road. Rowena was very helpful and patient in accommodating our requests and answering any queries we had.

The farm house is in a fantastic location. Clear instructions were left for checking and use of appliances and amenities and every effort was made to accommodate us.

This was a lovely venue for a family get together as a picnic, where luckily, the weather was kind to us. It worked beautifully for us and the big garden was ideal for outdoor games which kept the children entertained – we would love to stay again.

Large house in the heart of the new forest. Six good-sized double rooms but note 2 of them are outside the house. Big garden. Great dining room and well equipt kitchen. Nice size lounge too. We had a 3 generation family get together here and everyone had a great time.

We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay over new year. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a feast up in the kitchen and a lovely large square table to seat 12. Each room had an en-suite which was useful. The Christmas trees and decorations were a lovely touch. We have all fallen in love with the New Forest and will be back to explore more.
